Intro to Sam

A quick introduction: I'm Sam, responsible for the email delivery platform at Ghost.

Platforms that send for thousands of customers hit every failure mode eventually: shared domains outgrowing their reputation, the 2024 bulk-sender rules, and the long tail of broken DNS. Being an engineer, I had the agency to fix those as they came up, for thousands of newsletter publishers and journalists at once. I also gained the arcane knowledge of a postmaster by reading the contents of the scrolls (🧙‍♂️).

More seriously, I've also worked the front line: escalated tickets where someone's email has stopped landing and nobody knows why. Working out what went wrong in a stranger's setup, from the outside, is a skill of its own, and it's the one I'm putting to use here.
